Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Volt Discord bot ("Volt", "the bot", "the Service"), including its economy ("BPconomy", "Coins"), games, leveling, moderation/anti-nuke, media, and related features. Volt is operated by an individual ("we", "us", "the operator"). By adding Volt to a Discord server, or by interacting with it, you ("you", "the user") agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Volt.

1 Eligibility #

  • You must comply with the Discord Terms of Service and Community Guidelines at all times.
  • You must meet Discord's minimum age requirement for your country (at least 13 years old).
  • If you add Volt to a server, you confirm you have permission to manage that server and to bind its members to these Terms in respect of Volt's use.

2 The Service #

Volt provides Discord-based features that may include a virtual economy and casino/mini-games, an XP/leveling system with rank cards, server moderation and anti-nuke protection, logging, image/video manipulation commands, music playback, and configurable per-server settings. Features may be added, changed, or removed at any time without notice.

3 Virtual Currency & Games #

BPconomy, Coins, and all in-bot items, balances, levels, and rewards have no real-world monetary value. They cannot be purchased with, exchanged for, or redeemed for real money or anything of value, and are provided solely for entertainment within Discord.
  • Virtual currency and progress are not your property and may be reset, adjusted, or wiped at any time — for example due to bugs, abuse, server changes, data loss, or balancing.
  • The casino/gambling-style games are simulations using virtual currency only. They are not gambling and involve no real stakes or payouts.
  • We are not liable for any loss of virtual currency, items, levels, or progress.

4 Acceptable Use #

You agree not to:

  • Abuse, exploit, or attempt to exploit bugs, race conditions, duplication glitches, or unintended behaviour;
  • Use automation, self-bots, scripts, or alternate accounts to gain an unfair advantage or to spam commands;
  • Attempt to disrupt, overload, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access to Volt or its infrastructure;
  • Use Volt to harass, harm, deceive, or violate the rights of others, or to process unlawful, infringing, or sexually exploitative content (including through media or music commands);
  • Use Volt in violation of Discord's terms, applicable law, or these Terms.

We may, at our sole discretion and without notice, restrict, blacklist, or permanently ban any user or server from using Volt for any reason, including suspected abuse.

5 Server Administrators #

Server administrators are responsible for how Volt is configured and used in their server, including which features and permissions are enabled, the moderation/anti-nuke actions taken, and informing their members that Volt is in use and that the Privacy Policy applies.

6 Availability & Changes #

Volt is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or that data will never be lost. We may suspend, limit, or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time without liability.

7 Disclaimer of Warranties #

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Volt is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. You use Volt at your own risk.

8 Limitation of Liability #

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, currency, progress, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of (or inability to use) Volt. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.

9 Indemnity #

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the operator from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your misuse of Volt or your violation of these Terms or the rights of any third party.

10 Changes to These Terms #

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of Volt after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11 Termination #

These Terms remain in effect while you use Volt. You may stop using Volt at any time by removing it from your server. We may terminate or suspend your access at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (e.g. disclaimers, limitation of liability) will survive.
